+++ ICT Mobile Summit in Stockholm +++
This year's ICT Mobile Summit will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, from 10 to 12 June 2008. Already almost 400 participants have registered, and more are expected.
Participation in the Mobile Summit is an excellent opportunity to get an overview of ongoing and newly started FP7 projects and to have technical discussions with project leaders and members of EU project consortia in the mobile area.
eMobility is the sole commercial sponsor and will give an overview presentation in the plenary session along with a view of the further evolution of communications towards 2020.
On Thursday morning, 12 June, eMobility holds a session on the Future Internet, one of the hottest topics right now in European research.
Furthermore, eMobility will have a stand in the exhibition area. The eMobility steering board team will be happy to meet interested members at the stand and support them in meeting Commission representatives and discuss their ideas for projects for the upcoming FP7 calls 4 and 5.
The event is particularly interesting for those who would like to join proposals for calls 4 or 5 and who have not been participating in FP6/7 yet. The Mobile Summit would also be a good opportunity to meet and to exchange views with those who have already been successful in proposal submission, and to meet the Commission project officers. Meeting project officers is a very important element for being successful in the Framework Programme proposal process.
Feel free to ask the eMobility representatives at the exhibition stand for any advice or information that could be useful in this context.

APPLICATIONS
+++ eMobility Workshop on Leading-Edge Applications in October +++
The 3rd Workshop organised by the Working Group on Leading-Edge Applications was postponed to early October. The exact date and further details will be provided soon on the eMobility website.
+++ Call for contributions to Strategic Applications Agenda +++
All members of eMobility are asked to provide contributions towards the establishment of the SAA (Strategic Applications Agenda). This will give everyone in eMobility the opportunity to help shape the SAA. Guidelines on how to provide these contributions have already been circulated. A template for contributions to the SAA is available on the eMobility website.
