Standard eMobility text for inclusion in FP 7 proposals and standard cooperation agreements
The eMobility Technology Platform is committed to assisting organisations active in mobile and wireless communications to make the best use of possibilities for collaboration in Europe, particularly in the context of proposing work under the Framework Programme. With over 450 member organisations covering the whole value chain throughout Europe and with close links to international partners, the eMobility Technology Platform provides an effective mechanism for sharing experience and knowledge.
To facilitate collaboration the eMobility Technology Platform Legal Group has prepared a standard “Project Cooperation Agreement with or without Access Rights” which can be used to provide a legal framework for collaboration on technical and non-technical issues between two or more projects (see linked documents below). The Project Cooperation agreement without access rights is intended for projects that want to collaborate on joint marketing and dissemination activities rather than to work together on technical topics, for which access rights would be needed. The projects do not need to use the same consortium agreements and the agreement should cover collaboration between Eureka and Nationally funded projects as well as Framework Programme projects. We trust that these standard agreements will be useful to many project managers, saving effort for all concerned, as well as enhancing the opportunities for collaboration within Europe.
As discussed in the eMoblity General Assembly, projects which wish to collaborate in the context of eMobility should state their commitment in their proposals. To signal your wish to collaborate in the context of the eMobility Technology Platform, a standard text for a "Declaration of collaboration within the eMobility Technology Platform" has been drafted by the eMobility Executive Group. It is intended that this text should be included in all project proposals interested to be considered as eMobility projects (see linked documents below). We anticipate that collaborations between projects can be legally supported by the standard project cooperation agreements.
